Was the term really only coined as recently as that? Well I never.

I love these guys. A few units of horse archers backed up with a unit or two of cataphracts and you have a serious problem on your hands. All those arrows raining down on you for hours on end, wearing you down, slowly wittling away your strength and morale, the enemy always just beyond reach, ancatchable. Any time you try to attack them they just flit away, only to come back after and resume the perpetual assault. Finally, just as you've had enough, the cataphracts attack. Beautiful.

I'm looking forward to trying them out, as and when you can get them done. Of coure, knowing my luck they are likely just to flee and never be seen again. ;)

Another great picture by the way. You never sem to do a dud. :) I love the recent work on the eastern horse archers. Those poor legionaries in the other picture look terrified - and well they should be. :)
